A non-sexist environment is defined as one where there is no gender discrimination. This means not portraying females or males in gender-stereotyped roles. It also means not omitting their contributions.
The employer does not condone and will not tolerate any written or verbal expression of sexism. Each September, employers and the local (KCTU) notify administrative officers and staff. They do this in writing to affirm their commitment to a non-sexist environment.
The employer and the local shall promote a non-sexist environment. They will do this by developing, integrating, and implementing non-sexist educational programs. These programs include activities and learning resources for both staff and students.
